Information processed when you browse
When you visit any website, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes this information to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare's own practices are described in its privacy policy.
Pages, styles and fonts are served from our own domain. Pages do not load scripts, fonts, images or embedded content from third parties.
Analytics
The site does not use analytics. If we add an analytics service, it will only run with your consent where the law requires it, and we will update this policy and our cookie policy first.
Advertising
The site does not show advertising. If we introduce ads, we will update this policy before they appear and explain what data is involved and what choices you have.
Affiliate links
The site does not use affiliate links. If this changes, we will update this policy and our affiliate disclosure first.
When you contact us
If you email us at hello@clipperpartsmatch.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. Messages are received by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to our Gmail mailbox, provided by Google, which stores them for us. We use them only to reply, to investigate the issue you raise and to correct the site where needed. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed for these purposes and then delete it.
Legal basis
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (and the EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies), we process browsing data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you.
International transfers
The service providers mentioned in this policy may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers make available under that law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email hello@clipperpartsmatch.com. We will reply within one month, as the law requires.
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law: we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first by emailing hello@clipperpartsmatch.com with "Privacy complaint" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you informed and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or, if you live in the EEA or Switzerland, to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above.
